Creating Breakthrough in Your Life Through Biblical Meditation-7 - Pressing Through & Conducting Power

Main Post of the Week # 1 (Week of March 10-16)

Welcome back. Biblical Meditation is extremely powerful. Why has it been removed from from the arsenal of most Christians? No matter - you now have a practical road map for taking it back. But you need to hang on to it.

Because this practice is so potent you will face opposition in continuing with it. You see, the word of God seated deep at the core of your life makes you a potential catalyst for divine release-a heavenly path that God can flow through to bring things between heaven and earth.

As we have already said, Biblical meditation makes your life more conductive of the power of God. The enemy is not so concerned with your human ability alone, but he is highly concerned about divine power being released through your life. He will definitely use any means possible to distract you from positioning yourself to be a catalyst - especially if you are serious.

Pressing Through Resistance

The opposition may come in the form of a series of times where you feel and sense nothing, possibly even feeling a little weaker or even drained. This is a test you must pass. The opposition may come as certain things seem to look worse not better. The opposition may be a strong desire to just return to your old way of doing things because it is comfortable and familiar. Deal with all these things keeping the goal in mind - supernatural breakthrough.

Fruit is Coming

Friends, we have gone through some of the very practical steps to a profitable Biblical meditation time. Here are some of the things I experience through mine and you should begin to experience too:

  • Less struggle to recognize the will of God in major and minor things
  • Clearer impressions from the Lord for others and personally too
  • Increased confidence and authority from truly building my life on the Word deep down -(less concern with my authority and greater sense of His)
  • Deeper experiences with the Lord of many kinds
  • A sense of His presence more consistently in and through my life
  • Enhanced results praying for others
  • Increase of His promises fulfilled in my life
  • Significant faith increase
  • Stronger desire to fulfill my calling than ever before
  • Enhanced ability to stand against sin
  • Greater recognition of God’s involvement in my life, even in areas I previously missed
  • More strategic daily routine stemming from putting first things first
  • Diminished desire for things which used to distract me from God’s will
  • Greater fruitfulness and anointing as I share God’s Word

Any of these worth fighting for? In my book yes, and in yours I hope too.

You are on the right track if you will persist. Breakthrough is just around the corner. Do not be discouraged or distracted. Do not be denied. Press on with boldness and determination. Please go back over previous posts of this series as you feel led.

To the advancing of God’s Kingdom and the Release of His Glory,

Rick for Ti-MC

Rick - this is real awesome - to achieve breakthrough by meditating on the increasing repertoire of God’s strong word. I looked up Psalm 1 and in the Hebrew the word meditate is ‘hagah’ and has the meaning of speaking as you explained. I can even be seen in the context of a lion growling over his prey. This reaffirmed what you are saying about the power to breakthrough !! Awesome. Guy in Singapore

Guy… thank you for sharing your thoughts and here’s shout out to Singapore!

Fantastic and helpful insight about the Lion which I hope others pick up on as well. I might add that when the Word is ‘made flesh’ in us as we become one with it/Him, we are more able to operate like the Lion, Jesus, with respect to the will of God in and through our lives… powerful.

I have noticed as the word is getting rooted deeper in my mind and heart, that is what I pray when I am driving down the road or doing laundry. I have also noticed a higher perception of the things that are NOT of God as well as the things from him. Whoa.

Great stuff about the lion! Here’s a line from a wonderful worship song to tie the lion revelation to the need to REALLY receive God’s love as the ground for the seed of the word to grow in…
“You love like a Father, You love like a brother,
You love like a lion, fierce like no other,
You violently chase me down to embrace me, engulf me in who You are!”
This is great stuff, Rick. Thanks for being an obedient vessel to share all this with us!
