Creating Breakthrough in Your Life Through Biblical Meditation - 6 - Two Powerful Secrets

Main Post of the Week # 2 (Week of Mar2-9)

You are still believing God for a divine shift in your life – right?

We are standing with you. Breakthrough is yours if you will continue to press in. Forget about other concerns for the moment. Welcome back.

James 1:25

“But he who looks closely into the perfect Law–the Law of freedom–and continues looking, he, being not a hearer who forgets, but an obedient doer, will as the result of his obedience be blessed.” (Weymouth)

If you have been applying what we have shared, surely you are experiencing new things at this point. If not, stay with it.

When God’s Word sinks deeper in your heart and proceeds more intentionally & consistently out your mouth, incredible things must result as you persist:

Isa 55:10-11

10 Just as rain and snow descend from the skies

and don’t go back until they’ve watered the earth,

Doing their work of making things grow and blossom,

producing seed for farmers and food for the hungry,

11 So will the words that come out of my mouth

not come back empty-handed.

They’ll do the work I sent them to do,

they’ll complete the assignment I gave them.

THE MESSAGE

God’s Words Must Produce

I mean they MUST. Forget your thoughts during Bible meditation time: His thoughts are higher (Is.55). His ways always produce - and they will produce in your life when mixed with faith.

There is plenty of other great information out there, all secondary to God’s Word. (Of course we need other kinds of knowledge to succeed and I can’t wait to start giving you some powerful marketplace strategies in upcoming Series, but we have to start here if we are truly going to release the Kingdom in the marketplace. You’ll be glad we did.) It’s horrifying how many Christians will nod their head to such statements as so basic and they know it already – yet have very little demonstration of God’s power flowing in and through their lives.

What Many Christians Do Isn’t Working

A little devotional time, listening to sermons, serving at church and fellowship with other Christians is a great start on your way to heaven. But if you want to release heaven into earth, you are going to have to ride the word of God and function with God’s Spirit at a deeper level. No one can decide to do that for you. The choice is yours alone. Most Christians do not make the best personal choice here and so limit their lives unnecessarily and tragically. Don’t leave this to someone more ’spiritual’. YOU be the one.

If the only thing that separates you from your neighbor is that you are going to heaven, your moral compass is more active, you try to be generous, help some folks and you go to church - maybe throwing in an occasional mission trip — you are living way below your divine potential. Waiting for you is a flow of life from heaven beyond all you can ask or imagine. But it’s accessed by faith alone.

Powerful Secret #1: When the way that you ingest God’s Word into your heart (your Biblical meditation) becomes more effective, your heart begins to draw you toward more fruitful things.

Instead of spending quite so much time fighting wrong motives and desires, or trying to get motivated - you become more tuned in - more desirous of the will of God deep down. Feed your heart right and be shocked by the demonstration of God that begins coursing through your life.

Some people’s Christianity is all about what they don’t do. Don’t do this and don’t do that. (Of course there are many things to avoid.) If Christians spent less time flailing around dealing with things in our own strength and more time getting God’s Word down deep on the inside of us, divine shift would not only occur in our lives, but throughout the world.

Powerful Secret #2: Expand your Bible meditation time to day and night.

Ps 1:2

2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord,

And in His law he meditates day and night.

NKJV

Though day and night can be another way of saying all the time, frequently that approach is used as a cop out to mean any ol’ time is good or that the ‘all the time’ standard is figurative. Instead, may I suggest that you extend your time to include some night meditation as well. Don’t get in bondage and set the bar to high, but start realizing that the morning meditation, or any individual meditation is not enough to carry you through an entire day – that is, if you want breakthrough. Good!

Even as you are trailing off to sleep, remind yourself of Scriptures you have been meditating on. Lead your mind back to the Word later in your day; it doesn’t have to be another ‘official’ quiet time. Whatever you do, break open the compartment of your single devotional time pattern being enough: watch what happens. Give it some time.

Yes, when we start organizing our life around the Word, instead of the Word around our life – we are getting closer to the breakthrough we long for. Let’s keep going…

To the Advancing of the Kingdom and Release of God’s Glory,

Rick for Ti-MC

PS. Thanks for tuning in. We are honored to have you.
